This article spotlights an innovative classroom who noticed children's lack of focus and the stamina to maintain focus throughout their day. They implemented new sensory seating, as opposed to traditional classroom seating, which has helped the children with their focus issues.
Be sure to check out our sensory seating page for products and ideas that will best suit you. One of Stacy's favorite sensory seating item is the Sensory Tactile Seat Mat because it's flat and easy to roll up and carry. Another favorite of Stacy's is the Yogibo's Pressure tube/Sensory seat because it's not bulky, it allows movement, the texture is soft and you can roll it up and turn the sensory seat into a pressure tube, a two in one!
Who said sitting down and focusing on homework had to be a drag? :)
